LinguineTCG Express lets you photograph or scan trading cards, identify them against public card catalogs, keep a collection, price it, and share a public profile if you choose to.
Card identification is automated and best-effort. Matches, printings, conditions and prices are estimates, not appraisals or guarantees. Prices are sampled from public catalogs and can be stale, wrong, or missing entirely. Always verify a card yourself before buying, selling, insuring or valuing it. We are not a valuer, a grader, a broker, or a party to any transaction you make with anyone else.
You must be 18 years of age or older to use LinguineTCG Express. This is not a service for children. Users can publish text and images to public profiles, and we do not review that content before it appears, so the service is offered to adults only. By creating an account you confirm you are 18 or over. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18 we will close it.
One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed it.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Your scans, photos, collection data, profile, posts and comments remain yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and display that content strictly to operate the service, including showing whatever you have deliberately made public on your profile. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in routine backups until they age out.
Do not upload anything unlawful, infringing, hateful, or abusive, and do not upload images you have no right to use. We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach this. Community areas are moderated and a profanity filter is applied to posts and comments.
Card names, images, set information and prices come from public community catalogs, currently Scryfall (Magic: The Gathering), TCGdex (Pokémon) and YGOPRODeck (Yu-Gi-Oh!). Those data sets and images remain the property of their respective owners and are subject to their own terms. Card names and artwork are trademarks and copyrights of their publishers. LinguineTCG Express is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast, The Pokémon Company, Konami, Bandai, Disney, or any other game publisher.
The short version: do not be a dick, and do not do anything illegal. The rest of this section is what that means in practice, so nobody can claim they did not know.
In posts, comments, profiles, mottos, watermark text, card tags, feedback and anywhere else you can type or upload, do not:
Technical limits. Do not scrape the service, resell access to it, reverse engineer the matching system, circumvent scan credits or rate limits, use automated bulk access outside the features we provide, or attempt to reach another user's account or data.
What we do about it. We do not review content before it appears. When something is reported or noticed we may remove it, revoke your ability to upload pictures, revoke your ability to post, comment or message ("a communications ban"), suspend or close your account, and report you to the authorities -- any of these, at our discretion, without notice, and without refund. These are separate: losing the community features does not refund the scans you bought, and does not entitle you to anything.
Your content is yours and so is the responsibility for it. You are solely responsible for everything you post and for any consequence of it. LinguineTCG Express does not endorse, verify or adopt user content, and is not liable for it.

The service is provided on an "as available" basis. We aim to keep it running, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability, and we do not guarantee any particular uptime, response time, or that scans, prices or matches will be accurate or complete.
Outages happen for reasons inside and outside our control: maintenance, software faults, hosting or network failures, third-party services we depend on (payment processing, card-data catalogs, image and price sources), and events beyond our reasonable control. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime, delay, data unavailability, or from any decision you make based on information the service showed you -- including pricing, valuations and listing exports.
We may change, limit, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time, including free features and paid ones, and including the cloud storage of collections and card images. We may do so for any reason, including that a feature is no longer sustainable for us to operate or fund. Where a paid feature is discontinued, we will:
We aim to give you a window to export your collection before stored data and images are deleted, but we do not guarantee one, and we do not guarantee that any data, image or credit will remain available. Export your collection whenever it matters to you -- the CSV export is always available from your account while the service is running.
Keep your own copies. The service is a convenience for organising and pricing cards you own; it is not a backup service, an archive, or a safe-deposit box. Your scans and card images remain on your own devices when you upload them, and you can export your collection to CSV at any time from your account. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you would be upset to lose. We are not liable for loss of, or inability to access, uploaded images or collection data.
Card storage is a hosting service, not custody. We never take possession of physical cards. Nothing in the service is a valuation, an appraisal, investment advice, or an offer to buy or sell. Prices shown come from third-party sources and may be wrong, stale or unavailable.
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings, which permanently removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, or where required by law, at our discretion and without notice. Unused credits and unused subscription time are forfeited on termination and are not refunded.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows -- including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any card identification, price, condition, valuation or export will be correct.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable to you for anything. That includes, without limitation: lost profits, lost sales, lost or corrupted data, lost or unusable credits, loss of access to the service, the value of any card, any transaction you enter into with anyone, and any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages -- whether or not we were told such loss was possible.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded entirely, our total liability for all claims combined is capped at the amount you actually paid us in the three (3) months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. If you paid us nothing in that period, our liability is zero.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you; everything else in it still stands. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You acknowledge and agree that:
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the operator of LinguineTCG Express, and anyone acting on their behalf, from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, fine or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with: your use of the service; anything you upload, publish, list or sell; your breach of these terms or of any law; your infringement of anyone else's rights; or any transaction between you and a third party.
Please read this section carefully; it affects how disputes are resolved.
Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us first and allow sixty (60) days to resolve the matter informally.
If that does not resolve it, any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered under the rules of a recognised arbitration provider, seated in Texas, rather than in court. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Either party may still bring an individual claim in small claims court.
You and we each waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class, collective, consolidated or representative action. An arbitrator may award relief only to the individual party seeking it. If this waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim alone proceeds in court and the rest of this section still applies.
You may reject this arbitration agreement by emailing us within thirty (30) days of first accepting these terms; doing so does not affect your use of the service.
To the extent permitted by law, any claim relating to the service must be brought within one (1) year of the event giving rise to it, or it is permanently barred.
We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including hosting, network, power or payment provider failure, third-party API changes or outages, cyber-attack, strike, epidemic, natural disaster, war, or action by a government or regulator.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site and the "last updated" date above will change. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. If you do not accept a change, stop using the service and you may request a refund of unused credits.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Texas have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your home country's law.
Severability. If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions stay in full force.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
Entire agreement. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the service, and replace anything said or written beforehand.
Assignment. You may not transfer your account or these terms without our written consent. We may transfer them, for example if the service is sold or merged, on notice to you.
No third-party beneficiaries. Nobody other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms.
Survival. Sections covering availability, assumption of risk, indemnity, liability, disputes, time limits and this section survive the ending of your account.
